Call for abstracts

Present your research at the Indian Wildlife Ecology Conference 2024 (IWEC `24)!

IWEC `24 was born from the collective aspirations of researchers and institutions in India to discuss the science of wildlife ecology, network and collaborate, and support the discipline’s growth. We invite submissions of abstracts for oral and poster presentations on topics related to Indian wildlife ecology.

Please note that each participant is limited to one submission overall. You may choose to submit an abstract under either Symposia or Open Session or Poster Session, and not all three.

Kindly read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your abstracts. Submissions that do not adhere to the guidelines will NOT be considered. Deadline has been extended for all submissions to 15 March 2024 (Submissions are now closed).

  1. You can view symposia titles and synopses here if you are submitting an abstract under the Symposia Session.
  2. Your abstract should comprehensively summarize the entire presentation, providing a clear and concise overview of the research, methodology, results, and conclusions.
  3. Abstracts will be shortlisted by domain experts, based on relevance to the Conference, scientific merit, originality, and innovation, while also considering diversity and inclusivity across various topics, institutions, and regions.
  4. You can submit only one abstract overall. You can choose from any one of the three sessions to submit your abstract under (Symposia OR Open OR Poster Session).
  5. If your abstract for the Symposia session is not accepted, it will automatically be considered for the Open Session or Poster Session.
  6. You can view the tentative programme schedule here if you would like to view how the sessions are planned.
